Prior to its new life as The Tawsty Flower B & B, 106 South 4th Street has been the home to many Lewisburg families, students, and even a business or two. Originally built in about 1850 the building served as a typical two sided Pennsylvania "double home". In later years it housed as a tea room and the restaurant "Higgins of Lewisburg".In the 1980's it was converted to a rooming house and college rental where it saw over 20 years of hard wear and tear.

The home was purchased in 2005 and converted into the owner's residence and a Bed and Breakfast Inn. Careful planning went into the floor plan. Knowing the home would be both a residence and an inn. We laid out the rooms to allow complete freedom, privacy, and convenience to our guests. It's our goal to see that your stay with us is easy, relaxing, and most of all enjoyable.
